Koh Mook is a stunning island in Trang Province, just a short trip from Khuan Tung Ku Pier in Kantang District. The boat ride from the pier to the island takes only about 30 minutes, making it easy and stress-free to reach.

You can catch the passenger boat at 12:45 pm, or if you prefer more flexibility, hire a private long-tail boat for around 600 baht per boat, which can seat up to 10 people. It’s a great option if you’re traveling with family, friends, or wedding guests.

Once you arrive at Koh Mook Pier, the best way to explore the island is by renting a motorbike and enjoying the natural beauty at your own pace. Plus, Khuan Tung Ku Pier has a convenient car park, so getting there by car is simple too.

This easy access makes Koh Mook not only a wonderful travel destination but also an ideal choice for a beach wedding. On January 2, my team of photographers and videographers traveled from Phuket to Koh Mook, Trang, for a pre-meeting with Andrea and Pavel, a lovely couple from the Czech Republic. We met to discuss the details of their upcoming wedding on this beautiful island in southern Thailand.

Andrea and Pavel first reached out to me about a year in advance to book their wedding photography and videography. From the very beginning, I could feel how important this day was for them. What made it even more special was learning that Andrea herself is a talented photographer. Knowing this gave me a mix of excitement and a little pressure—I wanted to make sure every moment was captured perfectly, through the eyes of someone who truly understands photography.

Our team of wedding videographers had a wonderful time meeting Andrea and Pavel at the beautiful Sivalai Resort in Trang. We arrived around 2 pm, greeted each other warmly, and spent some time getting to know one another before diving into the exciting wedding schedule.

Tomorrow, we’ll begin filming at 1 pm when Andrea starts her bridal preparations at Sivalai Resort with hair and makeup. At the same time, Pavel will be getting ready with his friends at Smile Resort, located about 5 kilometers away.

We also reviewed the ceremony plans together. The wedding will take place at the breathtaking Farang Beach, about a 20-minute journey from where Andrea is getting ready. Andrea and her bridal party will travel by long-tail boat, while Pavel and his friends will arrive in style by tricycle. It’s a unique and fun touch that adds to the charm of their special day.

As a Koh Mook wedding photographer, I always make sure every detail is planned carefully so that no special moment is missed. During our meeting, we went over the full timeline with Andrea and Pavel to ensure we capture everything—from the emotional getting-ready shots to the joyful ceremony and beyond.

After finalizing the details, we enjoyed an engagement photo session around Sivalai Resort and along the stunning long beach. The soft sea breeze made the afternoon feel perfect, giving us the chance to capture relaxed, natural, and truly beautiful photos that reflect the island’s charm.

On January 3, we had the honor of capturing Andrea and Pavel’s wedding day in Thailand. We started early at Sivalai Resort, where we photographed Andrea and her friends during the fun and emotional getting-ready moments. Then, we made our way to Smile Resort to capture Pavel and his friends preparing for the big day. Everything flowed perfectly, and as Koh Mook wedding photographers, we made sure not to miss a single moment.

The wedding ceremony began at 5 pm on the west side of the island. The weather was hot, and the soft sand made it a little tricky to move around with cameras, but with our experience as professional beach wedding photographers in Thailand, my team and I handled it with ease. The stunning beach setting made every frame unforgettable.

The celebration continued at 7 pm with a cozy dinner reception. Guests enjoyed heartfelt speeches, followed by a magical surprise—fireworks lighting up the night sky and a beautiful traditional southern Thai dance performance right on the beach.

It was a night full of joy, love, and unforgettable memories. Our wedding photographer and videographer team wrapped up at 10:30 pm, leaving Andrea and Pavel with a collection of timeless images and video wedding that tell the story of their dream wedding in Koh Mook, Trang.
